Refunds and Returns Policy for MyDecorGenie

1. Eligibility for Returns

We offer returns for physical products under the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • Products that are personalized, custom-made, or sale items are non-returnable.

2. Non-returnable Products

The following types of products are not eligible for returns or refunds:

  • Personalized or custom-made products (e.g., custom wall art, bespoke furniture).
  • Sale or discounted items.
  • Products that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer.

3. Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Return Authorization: Once we review your request, we will issue a Return Authorization and provide you with return instructions, including the return address.
  3. Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or an error occurred on our part.
  4. Condition of Returned Items: Please ensure the product is securely packed in its original packaging to avoid damage during return shipping. Any items returned in a damaged condition may be subject to a partial refund.

Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund within 7 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

  • Refund Timeframe: Depending on your payment method, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

5. Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges for products. If you wish to exchange an item, you must return the original item and place a new order for the replacement.

If your product arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will either replace the item or issue a full refund, including any return shipping costs, at our discretion.

For home services (e.g., painting, carpentry, decluttering), refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. If you are dissatisfied with the service, please contact us within 7 days of service completion to discuss the issue. We will make every effort to resolve the situation, including offering a redo or partial refund depending on the nature of the complaint.
